What does the New Year's Eve package include?
The period runs from December 29 to January 3, with check-in from 3 pm and check-out by noon. Holidays have a minimum stay: the date search shows the rules before you book. In every room, the rate includes:
- breakfast every day, from 8 to 10:30 am;
- parking, with one space per room;
- a heated pool, with the water between 27 °C and 29 °C, and a sauna open from 10 am to 10 pm;
- beach chairs, umbrellas and towels on loan at the front desk;
- Wi-Fi throughout the inn.
The New Year's Eve rate is non-refundable: if you cancel, the amount paid will not be refunded. So double-check your dates and guests before you pay. What is New Year's Eve like in Maresias?
For the last two New Year's Eves, the São Sebastião city government put on a free public party in Maresias, with a DJ and low-noise fireworks, from 9 pm on the 31st to 2 am on the 1st. In 2025/2026, the party was held at Praça Internacional do Surf, and hotel occupancy across the city reached 96%. The 2026/2027 program still hadn't been announced as of early October.

Why ring in the New Year 10 minutes from the beach?
On the night of the 31st, the crowds gather on the beachfront and nearby streets. From Villa Blu, you can walk there and back, without moving your car or hunting for parking. After the party, you sleep on a quiet street: sleep quality is rated 4.8 on Tripadvisor.
The other days are all about rest. An unhurried breakfast, the beach in the morning, the heated pool in the afternoon and sunset at the inn's lookout. If it rains, the heated pool and sauna save the day.
Which room should you choose?
- For two: the Standard Suite and the Deluxe Suite have king beds. The Deluxe is the largest suite, at 22 m², with a sofa and a desk.
- For families: the Apartment has a full kitchen, a living room, a balcony with a hammock and beds for up to 4 people. Children up to 3 stay free (up to 2 per room).
- To spend less: the Economy Suite has the same breakfast, the same pool and the same parking space, in 12 m².
